Dragon Boy

Okay, I know it's pretty much Sunday and this has nothing to do with Accidental Elemental OR the world therein, but it's what I've got right now, and it's been waiting a long time anyway. I mean come on, it's at least got a dragon in it, so it can't be TOO bad... and I daresay this dragon is a lot prettier than the ones in the comic, but then, I might be biased...

~ANYWAY! The dark-haired boy on the left is the digital-colored version of a doodle I did smack in the middle of class the other month, which came out surprisingly cute given that I was just doodling and barely even trying... then again, maybe that was the ticket, hm? I just slapped some Photoshop into it shortly thereafter, really not bothering to sort out any proportional quirks, and here it is today. Again, to disclaim, he's not actually a 'magician' of any kind, but I like to draw him working little enchantments, because let's face it, he's a very enchanting fellow! He's got here a magical little 'peace-love-balance' sign that I designed about a gajillion years ago... a three-way hybridization between a yin-yang, a peace sign, and a heart.

Before I drew the initial doodle, I was sort of having a grumpy day, as I recall, and after I drew it, I was smiling again. ^_^ That's Kado; he'll do it every time! <3 "Was I just caught in a wind storm? Why... yes! And I enjoyed every moment! Erm... how could you tell?" (Innocently plucks leaf from hair) So much adorable devil-may-care flyaway-ness...

~Ahem. And THEN, on the right, we have the fantastical dragony rendering of that boy on the left! My favorite 'noodle dragon' ever!  This gold dragon pretty much works the same way for him as the silver-blue thing in my avatar works for me... a whimsical translation. Hehe, it looks like he's saying, "Tsk... my wife is a nutcase..." (His 'wife' is ME, in case anyone wasn't aware... yes, I'm enamored of an imaginary man. 'Nutcase' is correct. Now get over yourself. )
