Songy in the Rain by SekoiyaStoryteller Songy in the Rain by SekoiyaStoryteller
Here's some moar of 'Koiya's bizarre human-drawing issues. :XD: Everything above the waist looks okay. Everything below kind of looks like it's attached wrong. >u< (For those who don't know, this guy is the character who, to me, represents my soul mate... 'Songy' is short for 'Songmaker', which is a title, not a name... his name is Kado... or Kaedo, depending. ^_^ I don't share him too often so I thought I'd explain a bit to those of you I haven't known as long.)

ANYway! I'm sharing this mostly because of the background... I just love how it came out; I played with a bunch of Photoshop-brushes to make it. :D And I can't recall the last time I drew RAIN... I mean, this is shocking, but I think this may be my first time drawing it, digitally at least! o_o Song came out cute, too, if a little disproportionate. xP He looks almost like a pale Native American in this shot, which I'm sure he'd love to hear, and which makes sense given his genetics (Native Americans and Asians are very close genetically, and Songy is semi-Asian, so yeah... it works I guess =P). And no, he's NOT a hydrokinetic for reals, it's just fun to draw him doing magic-y things. :D

I actually drew this last month... it was a drawing combining two of the things I was yearning for the most at the time... rain, because of the HUGE WILDFIRE that's been SMOKING my entire COMMUNITY to death every day (up until it actually DID rain last weekend, like it MEANT it :D :D :D), and Song himself, because for some reason he decided to come and take over my mind (and heart) for a good while there. It's okay for him to do that, but the suddenness and intensity with which he took over was curious. x)

(I don't have much time to answer messages at the moment, but I'll get back to you all as soon as I can! ^_^)

A silly thought here: If we are brainsisters.... Then what does that make Songy? My dream brother-in-law? But he's not quite yet your husband in this world, but a dream-husband; so does that make him currently my SECOND dream brother-in-law, or is he my dream brother-in-law once removed? :XD: Or is it better to just not think about these complications? Because they can be mouthful. What'll I do if I ever meet him- say "Hi, second dream brother-in-law once removed!" and then gasp for air?

You know what's funny? JUST the other day... like, two days ago, at most, I found myself pondering the same thing, and calling Songy your 'imaginary brother-in-law'. :D OUR MINDS, man... do they ever let up? :XD: But seriously, you just brought a huge smile to my face. I seriously flipping love you. :iconiloveitplz:

And he IS my husband, ALREADY... because I DECREE IT. :XD: HE, of course, has no choice in the matter... it's an arranged marriage... arranged by ME... and, of COURSE, I wear the pants, big time. Who could ever doubt?

Getting on about Songy and about how our minds are still freakishly connected, I'd like to see what you think of this thing: sta.sh/01w790d7je1r Just for the lulz, let's see what you make of it, o twin brain. =P (Don't worry, it's just an image in my 'stash' dealie. ^_^)

So it's settled, then. He is now my dream brother-in-law. And he has NO choice WHATSOEVER in the matter. :D

And you were thinking that TOO? Our minds :XD:

Whaaa.... I'm TRYING to make sense of that :XD: Really, I am. Some of them are making sense... Some of it is plain confusing :XD: It reminds me of that Train of Thought thing I sent you a while back. As in, makes complete sense and yet makes no sense at all.

But many of those connections- I SEE them :D And I get them! Others, not so much, but some of them, I do.

Nope! :XD: No choice at all! And yes, I really, truly was... I don't remember the stream of thoughts that led me to it, but I distinctly recall labeling Song as your brain brother-in-law.

Haha :XD:. It is a bit like that, only with pictures, and all the main elements are pretty much laid out on the table. Which connections do you see/ not see? Have you seen either of the two movies pictured? =P

:D I love how things like this work.

I've seen The Neverending Story :) Not the other one, though- the anime.

Me too, bro, me too. :happybounce:

I don't really like to call Spirited Away an 'anime'... I mean, yes, it's an animated movie made in Japan, but more significantly, it's a 'Studio Ghibli' film... that's kind of a category all its own. =P Basically this little picture-stream thing is just outlining the way that I 'met' Kado... and not only that, but outlining a way that HE could have very, VERY likely 'met' ME. :squee: And the best part is, I didn't even have to strain my brain a LITTLE bit. It all just FELL TOGETHER, PERFECTLY. :iconhyperlaplz:

If you heard the words "Rim Fire", that's me. Firefighters from all over the country came to help with it. It seems to be better now... it's still smouldering, last I heard, but no more giant smothering smoke blankets in the morning, at least! :) It's devoured hundreds of thousands of acres of woodland... :noes: :(

Thanks, by the way.
